Various binding systems can be used for applying hinge
board covers to your materials.
Side-staple:
Place material between board covers and align with the spine and
bottom edge. Use a heavy duty long-armed stapler to staple evenly across
the hinge cloth.
Screw
Posts: Line up your material between the front and back covers
even with the spine and bottom edge. Punch or drill three holes 3/8 inch
from the edge—the first one-inch from the top, the second in the
center, and the third one-inch from the bottom. Insert screw posts through
the hole and secure into the screw post backing.
Lacing: Place material between
the board covers and align with the spine and bottom edge. Punch three
holes: one center, one inch from the top and one inch from the bottom.
